What we collect

You can answer a test before creating an account; unfinished and completed answers remain in this browser until you sign in. Revealing a result requires Google or a verified email account. The server then receives the final answer payload and version IDs, recalculates the result, and stores a private trait vector plus the question IDs needed to evolve your Character Atlas. We do not place raw answers, email, Firebase UID, IP address, or a stable private identifier in public result pages.

Personality estimates

Raw answers, FicTwin vectors, evidence strength, and external personality claims are private by default. Portable labels appear publicly only after explicit opt-in and can be removed independently. See how FicTwin scoring and portability work.

Series tests and spoilers

Series tests contain spoilers and show a warning before the questions. They use the broadest available series content and do not ask for, infer, or save reading progress. Internal content-version IDs keep scoring deterministic; they do not represent a reader-selected spoiler boundary.

What is public

A public result contains opaque IDs, ranked character output, approved explanations, an optional alias, timestamps, and version numbers. Series results also contain an immutable copy snapshot for stable sharing, but never raw answers, vectors, UIDs, or reading history. Duo pages contain pre-authored relationship-pattern copy and no private vectors. Pseudonymous reader profiles are private by default and become link-only or publicly discoverable only when you choose; public discovery requires an account.

Accounts and email

Google and verified Email/Password Firebase accounts own completed results and sync them across devices. Email verification messages are sent by Firebase and may appear in spam or junk folders. The optional marketing-email checkbox is stored separately from result data with a timestamped consent event; declining it does not affect authentication or results.

Community features

Reader Rooms accept short, spoiler-scoped responses, one-level replies, structured reactions, polls, and reports. Attached results expose only a character ID for aggregate Reader DNA. Aggregates stay hidden below a minimum cohort, and blocks, follows, notifications, votes, reports, and private profile settings are not public.

Studio generation

Preset labels and abstract trait bands may be sent to the configured generation provider. FicTwin does not send names, emails, raw answers, result IDs, IP addresses, photos, or protected-character prompts. Successful assets are reused; failed reservations do not count against rolling limits.

Analytics and feedback

The MVP records structured product events and votes. Series-test analytics include only series, test, content version, duration, channel, and attribution identifiers—never raw answers, vectors, aliases, or report text. Creator campaign analytics must remain aggregate and never expose private Atlas vectors or reader identity.

Deletion and retention

The profile page lets the owning account delete both private and public results. Clearing local history alone does not delete server data. Generated assets, consent events, and social records require documented production retention schedules and moderation cleanup workflows.

Contact

Before public launch, replace this draft with reviewed legal text and a working privacy contact for the configured site operator.
